Mark Davies's training and experience includes a wide range of therapeutic skills.  Part of the work is to develop a programme of therapy suited to each individual as different people respond to different approaches. 

At the initial consultation your specific needs and goals can be discussed. The therapy is very much a partnership and one main aim is to help you help yourself. 

Unlike many practices we can visit our clients at their own homes or appointments can be held at our clinic, whichever the client prefers.

Psychotherapy and how it can help you

The main aim of psychotherapy is to attempt to examine a problematic or sometimes unsettling area which may effect aspects of our lives. Feeling angry, frightened, envious, resentful or left-out are all normal human experiences, but being burdened and overwhelmed by these feelings can leave us feeling miserable and unfulfilled.

Psychotherapy aims to help people to get to know the kind of person they are. It can be a challenging but it can also help you to understand and come to terms with the nagging difficulties that can inhibit our personal development and growth.

Through psychotherapy we try to get closer to the truths and conflicts that affect the way we relate to each other. It provides a considerate and safe setting in which difficult feeling can be carefully thought about and worked through.
